This Privacy Policy explains what information Reconnect (“we”, “us”) collects when you use our website, dashboard, and client software (Android, Windows, and Termux), and how that information is used, stored, and protected.
2. Information We Collect
- Account information — email address, username, and password hash when you register, or your Discord ID and profile info when you sign in with Discord OAuth.
- Device data — a hardware ID (HWID) used to bind license keys and subscriptions to a specific device, and basic device metadata (OS, app version).
- Session cookies — Roblox account cookies you provide are used solely to operate the automation features you request (auto-rejoin, multi-client management) and are encrypted at rest.
- Usage and diagnostic data — IP address, request timestamps, and error logs, used for rate limiting, abuse prevention, and troubleshooting.
- Payment data — when you purchase a subscription, payment is processed by a third-party payment provider; we do not store your full payment card or wallet details ourselves.
- Support messages — name, email, and message content submitted through our contact form.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To provide, operate, and maintain the Reconnect service.
- To authenticate your account and enforce device/subscription limits.
- To detect, prevent, and respond to abuse, fraud, or security incidents.
- To respond to support requests sent through our contact form or Discord.
- To communicate important changes to the service, pricing, or these policies.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with the minimum set of third parties required to operate the service: our hosting and database providers, our payment processor, and Discord (for OAuth login). Each of these providers is bound by its own privacy and security obligations.
5. Data Retention
Account data is retained for as long as your account is active. Support messages and diagnostic logs are retained only as long as needed to resolve issues or comply with legal obligations, after which they are deleted or anonymized.
